Becoming a mom has changed my perspective on a lot of things this year. I always knew that moms had a hard job, but this year I felt that in a very real way! Suddenly I could identify with so many things that I had never understood before—like how hard it is to get to church on a Sunday morning when your baby’s sleep patterns don’t match the church’s service schedule!
There are a lot of times when I question and doubt whether or not I have heard from God. But then there are also times when I feel certain. Every once in a while, God speaks to my heart in just such a way that I can’t deny the divine nature of the message.
It’s been a crazy week. I’ve pretty much been working around the clock since I returned from holidays two Mondays ago. The long weekend wasn’t actually a weekend at all in my world, and I haven’t had a proper night’s sleep all week.
